Dental Practices are allowed to remain open. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that St Peter’s Avenue Dental Practice Ltd, will continue to carry out normal routine dental treatment.
So, if you have an appointment booked, you can still attend. If you have a dental problem, you can still get in touch for an appointment.
Safety of both patients and staff still remains a priority for us, and over the past few months, patients will have noticed quite a few significant changes at our Dental Practice to comply with social distancing guidelines, cross-infection control, patient screening and cleaning protocols to eliminate possible routes of virus spread.
All at St Peter’s Avenue Dental Practice Ltd would like thank all our patients for your support and complying to our guidelines, to enable us to remain open and provide the necessary dental care.
Before your appointment, we will contact you to let you know what to expect, and of any last-minute precautions. We are aware these precautions may make us come across as less personable, but we will still be as friendly and welcoming as ever.
We will ask you:

At your appointment:
Fees may be higher than usual for some procedures
As you are aware, these are challenging times for everyone, including businesses. As you may have heard in the media,
private dental practices have been hit particularly hard. For the rest of the year, we expect an increase in our expenses,
but being private we always took the time to do dentistry to a high standard. This means we should be able to maintain close
to previous levels of appointments, although for reasons of using extra PPE, some appointments may need to be slightly longer and cost a little more.
We will keep fees as reasonable as possible, but we hope you will understand and accept a modest increase on our previous fees.
As ever, our patients who pay into our Dental Care Plan, the monthly fees will remain the same and will continue to pay less for their treatments.
For those who are not on our Dental Care Pan scheme and if you would like to join, please let us know by calling the reception team on 01472 691708
We will always let you know in advance how much you would expect to pay for your appointment.
Booking an appointment
We will first be contacting anybody who has had dental problems over the last 2 months which will need addressing.
If you have a pre-booked appointment, week commencing 8th June, your appointment is planned to go ahead as scheduled. If you have pre-booked appointment, week commencing 15th June, we may still need to reschedule this. If we do need to reschedule, we will get in touch. If you are unsure about your appointment, or have any questions, please contact us.
If you’d like to book an appointment, please do so by phone on 01472 691708 or email reception@stpetersdental.co.uk rather than visiting the practice in person.
There may be a significant demand for appointments initially, but we will do our best to see everybody who wants to be seen as soon as possible.
Thank you to all our patients
Finally, we would like to thank all our patients for your understanding during this difficult time. Over the last 3 months, you will have been affected by the lack of access to dental care.
Many of you have been in touch by telephone or email, and we have been grateful for all your support, understanding and positivity we have received over the last two months.
We hope to get back into the usual routine as swiftly as possible, and we will be doing everything we can to make sure this is the case.
